Rise up. One of our headliners, our towering 5-eye 8053 shoe is made with a padded collar, air-cushioned soles and tonnes of Doc’s attitude. Standing on a towering Quad platform sole, these shoes are not for the faint-hearted. Now constructed in Orleans, a hardwearing, waxy leather. Orleans is a lightly textured waxy pull-up leather with a heavy handle and soft, supple feel. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish. Built to embolden. Our towering Quad sole takes our silhouettes to new heights — for people who aren’t afraid to stand tall. Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed and reinforced with our signature welt stitch.
MATERIAL
A lightly-textured, soft waxy pull-up leather with a heavy handle and supple feel.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Wipe away dirt using a damp cloth. Apply a neutral or correct colored wax based shoe polish. Buff with a Dr. Martens Shoe Brush to restore shine as desired.
CONSTRUCTION
Goodyear Welted – the upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, providing more comfort and durability for years to come.
