Our classic 2976 Chelsea boot — reimagined in soft, ready-to-wear leather. We’ve rebuilt the slip-on boot in supple full-grain Virginia leather with a tonal elasticated gusset that makes DM’s attitude easier to wear than ever. Our distinctive DMS sole is marked with its usual grooving and secured with our unmistakable yellow welt stitch. The boot is also tagged with our scripted AirWair heel loop.
- The 2976 boot is the rugged Docs take on the classic Chelsea boot. Manufactured since the 70s
- Virginia is a soft, fine-grain leather that’s treated to make it smooth and supple. Clean with a damp cloth and care with Dr. Martens Shoe Polish
- The DMS sole is a pillar of Dr. Martens construction — renowned for its comfort and stability. A two-tone appearance with distinctive grooving and an unmistakable tread pattern.
- Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed and reinforced with our signature welt stitch

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Clean away dirt using a damp cloth and allow to dry, then apply Dr.Martens Wonder Balsam, add to shoes using the sponge applicator supplied with the product.
CONSTRUCTION
This is a Goodyear-welted product. The upper and sole are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions.
